External Counsel

Lawyer member of the Bar Associations of Paris, Kinshasa/Matete and Portugal (Lisbon), Mr BUSTIN holds a Ph.D. in Private Law from the University of Paris Panthéon-Assas.  He is a visiting lecturer in the OHADA-law postgraduation program of the Universities of Sorbonne Paris Nord and  Paris Panthéon-Assas.  Mr BUSTIN is also regularly invited as a speaker for international workshop and seminars, in Africa, Continental Europe and the United Kingdom, and has served as an examiner in several thesis juries.  He has published more than 50 papers addressing business law issues related to Sub-Saharan Francophone Africa and is the founding director of the first collection of comparative law between Mozambique and OHADA.

Mr BUSTIN has been working closely with MBM-Conseil for more than a decade on numerous mining, infrastructure and telecoms related matters, equally from an advisory or dispute angle.
